    LMIA Based Work Permits

    To get a Canadian work permit, applicants have to pass a two-step process. First, the applicant needs to apply to ESDC for a Labour Market Impact Assessment. After that, another application is submitted to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for the actual work permit.

    • Regulations passed in 2014, applicants or Canadian employers who want to hire foreign nations to deposit $1,000 as a processing fee for each application. Apart from that, they also need to pay a privilege fee of $100.
